Spring Is Approaching, and the Scientific Conference 2019 Along with It!

This year's Scientific Conference will take place on 10 and 11 April. Organizer Prof. Jan Trka will invite and introduce the main speakers.

Many of you, certainly, wake up every morning with the feeling that something is missing in your life, yet you can't define exactly what it is. We have the answer – the Second Medical Faculty’s Scientific Conference! Nine months has gone by since last year's conference, and we're all looking forward to another year.

Our faculty's top academic and social event of the year will take place on 10 and 11 April, in the newly reconstructed premises of our auditorium and the adjacent conference rooms. We are preparing a variety of scientific, social, entertainment, and sports programs for you: the main attraction will certainly be the lectures and the research posters of the young scientists of our faculty, but you can already look forward to the following events. The main guests approach medicine from very different angles: the leading European prenatal cardiologist prof. Jan Marek of Great Ormond Street Hospital in London through ultrasound waves, and prof. Ladislav Dušek from the Institute of Medical Information and Statistics through the complex matrix of medical statistics.

After two years (and quite exclusively, because their regular literary cabaret ECG in Divadlo Archa has for some time been in the stage of clinical death), the entertaining literary duo Jaroslav Rudiš and Igor Malijevský will return to Motol with their show.

You can also look forward to workshops, discussions, the traditional Motol Mile, delicious snacks, and time spent with classmates, senior colleagues and scholarly faculty!
